Project Overview
A product standard with no brand to match
ProBuild® is a regional distributor of premium building materials and sanitary solutions, operating out of Saudi Arabia. The company represents international manufacturers including VitrA and Ramon Soler, supplying residential developments, commercial towers, hospitality projects and healthcare facilities across the Kingdom.
The business sits in a category where the buying decision is made by architects, consultants, contractors and procurement teams. These are technical buyers. They specify products long before anyone signs a purchase order, and they specify what they can evaluate. ProBuild had the product portfolio, the manufacturer relationships and the technical knowledge to win that specification stage. It had nothing that carried any of it into the room.
BeardZonia had the product and the values. It had no visual language carrying either. Storm built the brand from the ground up, across identity, packaging and digital, so the standard inside the bottle became visible outside it.

The Challenge
A crowded shelf and a smaller budget
In building materials distribution, the sale is decided upstream. An architect writes a specification, a consultant approves it, a contractor sources against it. By the time a purchase order exists, the decision is months old. Suppliers who cannot be evaluated at the specification stage are not in the running.
Men’s grooming is one of the fastest growing retail categories in North America and one of the most visually cluttered. Most brands reach for the same dark palettes, the same heavy type, the same borrowed signals of masculinity. The shelf reads as one continuous wall.
BeardZonia had to separate from that without abandoning the boldness its audience expects. Softening the brand to look organic would have read as a different category altogether and lost the customer it was built for.
The brief was to hold two things at once. Premium and principled, rooted in what is actually in the product. Strong enough to compete on shelf and on screen against brands spending many times more to be seen.
WHAT WE DID
- Positioned the brand where organic quality and masculine confidence meet, rather than choosing between them
- Built a distinctive identity system designed to be recognised at shelf distance
- Designed the packaging system across the full product range, with room for range extension
- Developed a graphic language and palette that hold up in retail lighting and on screen
- Directed brand photography for packaging, retail and digital use
- Delivered brand guidelines the team can apply to new products without us

Storm 4D Method®
From research to reality
1/4 Discover
Studied the product philosophy, the audience and the North American grooming shelf, to find what was genuinely different and could be made visible.
2/4 Define
Set the position at the intersection of organic quality and masculine confidence, so the rejection of synthetic shortcuts became the brand argument.
3/4 Design
Built a bold system of type, colour and packaging that projects confidence without defaulting to the category’s borrowed visual language.
4/4 Deliver
Handed over identity, packaging, graphic language, photography direction and guidelines, so launch and scale stay consistent across retail and digital.
